Last night I was talking to a customer about my best selling soap, Lavender Goat Milk.

Did you know that when a goat is giving birth it is called kidding?

That is also when they start milk production. I use goat milk in this particular bar along with ground lavender buds, pure lavender essential oil and a lavender tea.

“Why goat milk”, you might ask? Well it happens to be moisturizing and nourishing to the skin because it contains capric-caprylic triglyceride. Yeah that is a mouthful to say but in short, the triglyceride helps to keep skin soft by forming a protective barrier and inhibiting moisture loss. That is super helpful in this dry winter air.
