I tried looking up another word to describe the sinfully, silky lather of my Midnight Silk soap. I put the word “silky” in the search box on Thesaurus.com and many words came up but none that describe it as well as “silk-sperience.
The closest words were luxurious, satiny, delicate and smooth. I guess if you put them all together like this it does a pretty good job of letting you know what the lather of this bar feels like but it doesn’t describe the fragrance or the whole experience of using it.

When I created Midnight Silk I was picturing a romantic, candle lit bathing experience. I started with my base of olive, coconut and palm oils and then added a good amount of avocado to give it a rich, nourishing lather. I didn’t stop there though. I wanted this bar to be sensual so I added natural silk fibers and a rose tea.
Wow and if that wasn’t enough, which it wasn’t, I saturated it with an exotic blend of ylang ylang and palmarosa essential oils. Ylang ylang essential oil comes from the flowers of the tree. In Indonesia these fragrant flowers are spread on the beds of newly married couples. The oil has such a wonderful, heady floral scent and is intoxicating in this blend with the rose-like aroma of palmarosa.
I like to use this bar when I’m getting ready for a special evening or when I feel like I need some extravagant pampering. It makes me feel exquisite and elegant. I really like it and you will too. That silky feeling against your skin combined with the exotic fragrance is such an experience that you won’t want to put the bar down.
It’s okay if you use it all up because I just made another batch so there is plenty more “silk-sperience” for you. Enjoy!
I’m just blowing bubbles.
UPDATE: I no longer carry this soap.
