Life is all about choices, priorities and what is important to you.

I choose to live a “green”, more natural way. I just happen to think it is healthier and well, more natural. When I look around at what Mother Nature has created and how it all works together so perfectly I just can’t help but marvel and think that we, as humans, are a part of that too. I believe that everything here on our planet is for us, our enjoyment and well-being.

I feel better when I try to live in harmony with nature and believe that when we try to improve on nature is when we get into trouble. I don’t understand why we humans even think we should. Look at anything in nature, a butterfly, a bee, a flower or a tree. The beauty and perfection are overwhelming.

So my love and admiration for nature is partly why I chose to start my business Scenter of the Mind. I really feel that all the chemicals in our food and products we use are making us ill and harming our amazing planet. That is important to me so I wanted to offer products that are made from natural, pure ingredients. I want people to have a healthier choice than some chemical cocktails which I know, after doing tons of research, are actually harming us and the environment.

I also want to make sure that my products will not harm the environment in any way. I know that a lot of things I do can harm the earth like driving my car for instance. I regret that there is no other choice for me at this time though so I must drive it to get to work and survive but I choose to walk places whenever I can so as to minimize the damage.

With my soaps and my business I am always striving to be less of a burden on human health and the planet. I removed the shrink-wrap plastic packaging because it doesn’t biodegrade and is just more garbage that will go into a landfill somewhere. I do however, still use some plastic packaging with my Awesomely Superior Soaps, which is a necessary evil, until I can come up with a way to protect my product without it.

So you see there are so many choices and it comes down to priorities and what is important to you. So if using safe products on your skin is important to you like it is to me then you are the person I am making soap for. You are the very person I am trying to help by offering you a better choice.
